Justin Bieber have a paternity test to the claims against which he fathered a child with a young woman from California after a brief encounter backstage last year, a source close to the singer said Monday.The Canadian singer is also considering legal action for defamation against Mariah Yeater, his spokesman said.Bieber, 17, spent much of last week denied claims by Mariah Yeater, 20, in a paternity suit filed in San Diego, saying he had neverknown. Yeater gave birth to a baby in July, which she says was the result of having sex in a bathroom with Bieber backstage after a concert in Los Angeles in 2010.

“Justin’s team chose to proactively arrange for him to take a DNA test to put this in the rest when he returns from Europe,” a sourceclose to the singer said.

Mariah Yeater requested a paternity test and seeking  £170,000 in child support.
